New solution for dexterous hands: smaller size, more torque
The dexterous hand, designed with a Tausch ring-enveloped worm gear structure, achieves 20 degrees of direct-drive freedom, with a load capacity of up to 20 kg at the single joint and 5 kg at the fingertips, and makes the hand lighter and closer to human size.

Adopting ring surface enveloping worm gear structure, the volume is at least 30% smaller than the traditional program, the center distance covers the full size of 4.5mm-10mm, the rated torque of single joint is up to 3Nm, the blocking torque is up to 6Nm, and the grip strength breaks through 25kg.
